He Can't Change || Future || Drabble

 “Peter! Peter, Godric is out of fo-“ Violetta stopped, a small smile pulling across her lips. She rolled her eyes gently at the dirty blonde boy lying on the floor. A small bundle curled up next to him. The brunette walked towards her partner and daughter, crouched down and sat next to them. Her fingers danced lightly through her his hair, twirling the locks. A little brunette head poked out from inside the baby blanket, and one year old Avery yawned a squeaky child’s yawn. She nuzzled against her daddy, and his arm instinctively wrapped around her tighter. 

"Silly little thing. Both of you." She murmured, a delicate finger pushing some of Avery's hair out of her face. Everytime she looked  at the face of her daughter, she could see features of Peter's. it caused her so much happiness to see the two of them.

Lately Peter had seemed to be different. Not too much different, but different enough. Avery never noticed, she was to involved with being a daddy's girl and simply happy to see him. But Violetta had noticed. Only, she had noticed in strange moments. When they weren't talking, and he was by himself. The way he'd stop and stare for a moment as if something had caught his attention deep with in him, or he'd had some sort of revelation. In the way he'd take longer to fall asleep, or would stare at people differently.  He seemed faltering, as if he were different now. Something was metamorphosing deep within him, and it scared her.

But at this moment, while he laid with their daughter on the circle rug in the middle of the living room, Godric only a few feet away, asleep, but keeping an eye on "his" little one, Vi saw her Peter. Vi saw the Peter she'd fallen in love with. Not that she wasn't in love with him still, they'd grown up together, and she still loved him as much as- if not more than- she did before. Though, she was worried for him now. 

Avery then had made a small noise, and Vi softly began to sing a short tune to her. However, nearly as soona s she did, Peter pulled the little bundle closer to him and nuzzled the top of her head. Nearly immediately, Avery had stopped whining.

Then, staring at Peter comforting their daughter nearly better than she had herself, Vi knew that deep inside, Peter could never change. No matter what would happen, a little piece of him would always be the same. Always someone who could care, more than hurt. 

Violetta then smiled and laid down against the love of her life's back, buried her face into his shirt, and fell asleep.

Date Night for Five? || Future || Prompt

Prompt: {Future} Vi dresses sexy for Peter and the Marauders are there as well. - for Corie.

She had planned the whole night. Even ordered fancy take out and set it up like a dinner for two. She was dressed in lingerie, a see-through over shirt, separated down the center, with a little bow at the bust. It was blue, and the fabric over her chest was sheer, but opaque. She had on only little shorts, edged with lace, and bows at the hips, also in blue. However, the little bows were in a darker tone, which she herself had failed to notice until the shop keeper pointed it out as a ‘nice touch to a boring one tone outfit’. Her hair was down, and she’d used a straitening charm on the normally wavy locks. She perched herself on the couch, knees bent and folded under her. The clock on the coffee table in front of her ticked away, telling her in its own language Peter was almost home. Then she heard the key in the door. A grin tugged on her lips, but quickly dissipated when she heard the faint sound of voices,

“Yeah, Vi’ll be happy to see you lot, I think.”

Vi’s face paled at the voice. Peter was talking to people. There were people there. There were people that were not just stepping up to the front door, but people Peter was planning on inviting in for a friendly gathering of some sort. Which had obviously meant only one thing (and this one thing nearly caused her to apparate anywhere else in the world- no matter her clothing). That one thing had been the marauders.  Frantically, she fumbled for a book, to look as if this had been her normal nightwear. Casually reading on her sofa in ‘royal blue’, lace lingerie… completely normal.

“Vi, I’m home and the mara-… merlin.” The brunette glanced up from the book she’d opened to a random page,

“What is Pete-.. Merlin’s beard, Hobday.” Vi forced her face from becoming red at James Potter’s voice as she stared at the four. Peter’s face was beet red, while James and Sirius stared in an almost amused fashion, and Remus… well, he did his best to keep his eyes averted.

“Bloody ‘ell, in the name of all things magic! Can’t a girl wear her bleeding night clothes without a fuss?” She huffed, crossing her arms without noticing that it pushed her cleavage together. Peter’s eyes had made a quick movement over her, which she caught and quickly glanced down. Once again she’d snatched up the book and hugged it to her, as if it were the next best thing to clothing.

“…. Jeez, Wormtail, I had no idea your girl was so-“

“Finish that sentence, Black, and it’ll be the last you speak. Now, if you don’t mind, you must leave, thank you.” Vi turned on her heel, walking with a brisk pace away from the group and into the bed room. Godric growled from his place on the floor before following her.

On a scale 1-10 how much do you truly love Peter?

L-Love, I... I love Peter as a friend, b-but I'm not in love with Peter. I mean, I really like him, I'm dating him, b-but... love? I... Love? Let's make 1 be like and 10 be love, right? So, 6?

I mean, he's the person who has accepted everything I've done. He's perfect, in almost every way, and his flaw just make him so much better. He's brilliant, and kind, and when I'm upset I don't even need him to say anything. I've screwed up and been such an emotional muggle roller coaster, and he's not left me yet. I wouldn't give him up for the world. So... I guess, I love him... Oh, Merlin, I think I... what... is that even possible?

Who cooks: I'd like to say Peter, but I don't think he'd be such a great cook, so Vi, though I think she'd grumble about it a bit. 

Who does the laundry and other chores:  Peter does the laundry and Vi makes sure everything else is clean with a flick of her wand. Usually when Peter's done with the laundry he'll come and help her out. 

How many children do they have: Two, one little boy and one little girl. The boy's got Peter's face and a bit of his attitude, but with Vi's hair color, and the girl's short and spunky just like her mother, though she's got Peter's face shape. 

Who’s more dominant: Vi, even though she gets all stumbly when Pete's around her. 

Favorite nonsexual activity: Vi likes to teach Peter how to shoot, and just hanging out with their children. Maybe even watching Quidditch matches, or going over to "Auntie Emmeline's" to have some good cooked food. 

Their favorite place to be together: The forest right next to their house. 

Any traditions: Dinners at Emmeline's house, Quidditch matches with the family.

What they do for each other on holidays: Vi always gets the house all festive, and Peter likes to bring home sweets (like Sugar Quills) from wherever he can. 

Where did they go for their honeymoon:

Where did they first meet: Hogwarts.

Any pets: Vi's weasel. 

What do they fight over: Old memories of Hogwarts, Vi not letting Peter in all the times, whether or not to give the children lots of sweets.

Do they go on vacations, if so where: They don't vacation often, but I think they might go to America a lot.
