A Trash Bag from a Garbage Truck Reveals a Heart-Wrenching Surprise

One day at work, a trash collector had a heart-warming encounter when he opened a trash bag.

A usual day for this employee at Philadelphia, PA is hauling trash bags deposited in the streets into the garbage truck. The routine was the same for this particular day. Nothing uneventful happened, until he noticed that there were movements in one of the bags. After he heard sound coming from it, he realized it was coming from a cat that was still inside the bag.

The collector released the kitten as soon as he could. She was then taken to the Providence Animal Shelter, and was aptly named after the Sesame Street character Grundgetta.

The animal shelter that took her confirmed that Grundgetta had been adopted by a loving new family.

It is truly inhumane to throw away such an innocent kitten away. Stories like this, however, provide hope for humans who are still compassionate and kind to animals.

This is Luna! She’s a five month Siamese and is very sweet and naughty. :) She’s great at making everyone in my family smile!

This is Mochi (And me in the last pic). She's my baby and she knows it.

She's white with a beige/tan stripe down her back, so she always looks a little dirty. And she looks like Gollem from LotR when wet. She's probably a Maltese/Cairn Terrier mix/mutt.

Zorro and Chiquito. Zorro has darker hair and is the younger one (and sometimes has crooked tongue bleps like the first pic in the second row). He also kisses his brother and Chiquito doesn’t always like it. 😆 Our old man (Chiquito, who is 15) wants to be left alone sometimes. Of the two, Zorro absolutely adores love/pets/cuddles. For Chiquito it has to be on his terms and he sometimes runs away from pets bc he just wants to sleep. Although Chiquito still acts like a puppy or someone much younger whenever “Snack” is said. He gets all excited and does a happy dance and ‘talks’. We also lovingly refer to them as the Blep Brothers because they both blep on the daily and it’s the cutest thing that manages to make me smile even on my worst pain days.
