my first olga sweater is finished! it’s my third sweater of the year and my first one not knit with chunky needles, and i absolutely love it. i can’t wait for fall and winter to come back around so i can wear it without sweating (lol).

finished my Storm Sweater! This was so satisfying to knit - and finished just in time to spend a rainy day at the desk and the library.

Idk if I love the fit yet - the pattern wanted it to be more oversized and I didn't want to do that, but now I'm wondering if it might have been better. But it feels really nice to wear, heavy and warm but not too warm!

yarn: Drops Nepal in “Forest” (originally used for my step by step sweater)

note: I completed this ages ago but only got around to taking pics today. Also please excuse the creases- it’s been sat folded in my closet for 2 weeks now.

This is the first time I’ve frogged an entire piece (and obviously I didn’t block the yarn so it was very…squiggly ?) so I wasn’t sure how this would affect the end product. Worked out alright I think.

The yarn is nice and soft but does pill a LOT but I have a fabric shaver now so not really an issue.

Also I was off gauge as I used 5.5mm needles so it’s ended up slightly oversized.

It’s birthday eve and I’ve just finished the body of my Cloud Sweater!🍂 going to start working on the arms and maybe visit an art gallery tomorrow!
