Do take the time to play Awakening ! Not only is it really good and you shouldn't miss it, but there's also some lore that might be relevant when playing Inquisition. So I recommend Awakening first.

It's not strictly necessary for later understanding, BUT it gives you more info on Anders and Justice, plus it has some darn-great characters that I still love and miss, like Sigrun and Velanna. :) (Also depending on your worldstate, you may or may not have seen Nathaniel Howe!)                    

Thank you for the suggestion! I’ve started playing Awakening. (It feels kind of weird going back to Origins mechanics after playing 2. I feel so slow!)

It’s kinda funny watching Ander’s character arc backwards. (And soon I will know who Nathaniel is, other than ‘a Howe’ and ‘apparently alive in my DA2 worldstate.)

Are you aware of the Dragon Age Keep ? It’s a website where you can upload the data of your DAO and DAII playthroughs to keep that world state in DAI. Not mandatory but if you like continuity/roleplay it might be a nice touch.

Ooh, that looks useful! Hopefully it will still behave itself if the DAO and DAII world states aren’t consistent (DAII started glitching when I was trying to import my DAO worldstate, so I panicked and picked the preset that was closest-- turns out it was glitching not because of my worldstate, but because of dell support -.-)

Probably Inquisition, but if you're going to play them all, play them in order. DAII is pretty short too. (Your talking has less impact on the story in II than Inquisition, but I'd say it's much more fun^^')

I think your second origin always feels shorter than the first, because you're not learning the game at the same time. At least that's how I felt when I played^^' Have fun with your city elf !

City elf gives you some awesome passive-aggressive dialogue options (even more as a woman), but it is a pretty dark story. I loved it and always recommend it, but the Dalish origin story was very interesting.

I just played it! It seemed a bit shorter than the other origin story I played, but I liked it.

I might play the dalish origin as well anyway, and then who to keep playing as after that.

No it's an alternate version of the series. It makes even less sense. (But worth it for the over-the-topness, the prettiness and the mindfuck.)

Ah, that makes sense. (Or doesn’t, as the case may be.) I kinda wish we got more... closure-y closure. I still probably watch, but I doubt I’ll understand it, I was getting pretty lost towards the end there.

You say the search term doesn’t appear in the post or the tags, but it does ? ‘silvergifting critical’ does contain 'silvergifting’, so it makes sense that it would be found with that keyword ? (I do understand your problem, though. I just don’t think anyone can tag their way out of the search function.)

There is a common(???) misconception (as it turns out) that tumblr only used the words in the body of the post and the exact tags, ie ‘silvergifting’ would show up but ‘silvergifting //’ or ‘silvergifting critical’ wouldn’t.

I just wished that there was a better way to separate things, so that people can rant without feeling like their stepping on people’s toes, and people can search the tags without getting rants.
