You tried to tell him no, you’d just go without it because it really wasn’t a big deal, but he insisted. After he ordered, you asked him how to pay him back, and he looked at you for a moment, infectious smile spreading across his face, and said that you could meet him here again tomorrow for a date.

First date: Back at the same place, you sit down with him at a table and the two of you just talk about everything. His happiness is so catching, you find yourself laughing the whole time.
