✩ :Belief they’ve questioned/struggled with
After his reintroduction to Midgar, Kadaj has been struggling with is whether or not, all he really is, is a puppet. Does he really contain no will of his own? Is he destined to only ever be the physical reflection of someone elses will and memories?
Before, when he was actively seeking out Mother, this was something he easily accepted. The notion of having a Mother, who would truly love and protect him, kept him from digging deeper into his role as a “puppet,” and so he was content. Now, after having accepted his due (though he keeps keeps some hope of reuniting with her), he finds it both heartbreaking, and emotionally numbing, that he has never really owned himself.
⋆ :Minor personality flaw or quirk
He can be exceptionally spiteful. Hurt feelings usually result in pinches, hurtful remarks, and him dealing out physical pain. Though capable of showing gratefulness, Kadaj would rather show just how malicious and ill-willed he can be. Vulnerabiltiy always did make him lash out anyway.
