Kay likes visiting little shops and cafés; they remind her of home. She finally found one near her house, too!
She likes coffee sometimes, but most of the time she gets hot chocolate. It’s always good, especially in the winter. The problem? This coffee shop obviously wasn’t built for kids. The cup lids are way too high to reach! She considers climbing on the counter, but the last thing she needs is to be kicked out of another store.
“Excuse me?” She addresses the nearest other customer. She looks nice!
“Could you hand me one of those lids, please? ...I can’t reach.”
