1) How are you doing today ?
Pretty well, thanks. Still currently too excited over finding a Winx Club comic (I feel like I should be embarrassed but I'm so flipping happy!!)
2) What is your main fandom at the moment ?
It changes with the day now, I swear. Right now it's Sailor Moon. It was Pokemon when I woke up though, lol.
3) When did you join tumblr and why ?
I joined it on *goes to check* Sat, 09 Apr 2011, according to post limit checker. Sounds about right. I was in the Hetalia fandom, really deep, and this girl, niigoki, I talked to on Twitter sometimes was also in the fandom, and I kept seeing links to this thing called tumblr in her feed...and here I am.
4) Pet-peeves in manga/anime ?
When girls turn into total pushovers with the people they like, and their eyes go all wide and confused and they just go along with everything. Actually, when guys do that too in BL, it annoys me. I like people with some sort of backbone, you know? You can be shy and stuff but still be your own person.
Oh and those anime speeches about everyone who's not there giving them strength...though it's very clichéd, so I kinda laugh at that now.
5) Your three favorite villains in any media (manga/anime/video games/books/movies/musicals/anything) ?
Umbridge, for showing us the evils of bureaucracy. (Something like that.) (I hate her SO MUCH but I'm in awe of how much hate she can make me feel, and how she is so much more hated than Voldy--fascinating.) (Also I really want her backstory when OotP's Pottermore stuff comes out.)
Magneto, for showing us how even villains are heroes in the right light, how villains can also have righteous causes you agree with--it's very much in the execution. And who's to say which way of doing things is 'right' or 'better' or moral? He really drives home the "villains are the heroes of their own stories" lesson for writing fiction, and for life.
I'm sorry, I've searched everything I could and I couldn't come up with a third one. (MCU fans might be upset I didn't say Loki, or something. He's fun, but not...idk. He's almost like an anti-hero to me, not a villain?) A lot of my favorite books/series don't *have* villains. That might say a lot about me.
6) Your least favorite character in Makai Ouji ?
Baalberith really bothers me. He kinda creeps me out, to be honest. And it seems like he abuses Sytry? And that is seriously not okay with me. No. And he made Sytry fall when he was a kid :( just, all of it. It makes me sad and uncomfortable and I really, really don't like him. I mean, at least Michael's going crazy. Baalberith doesn't have much of an excuse, ugh.
7) Do you like pastas ?
YES YES YES I DO. Totally one of my reasons for learning Italian lol. But I can't really make it (well) and my parents can't make it (they...use soy sauce. -_-) and American portions are HUGE so I don't get to eat it very often (like at restaurants, I mean.) Seriously though, American portions are HUGE when I ask for reduced sizes I'm still stuffed and I never have room for dessert :(
8) If you could visit any place in the world, where would you go ?
Somewhere in Europe or Asia, I think. Like...a nice, quiet place in England, maybe, with lots of trees and flowers, or a forest somewhere in Europe where it's colder? Maybe Norway. No, Iceland. But I kinda want to go to Tokyo? And I liked Shanghai. And I want to experience South Korean internet speeds very badly. So badly.
A house with many books in the middle of a cold forest with a lot of conifers/evergreen trees. There.
9) Is English your native language ?
I learned English as my second language, but I'm the most fluent in it now. (I learned Mandarin first, but alas, it's really hard to read Chinese and sound all smart and literate if you can't, you know, read Chinese.)
10) Least favorite color ?
Yellow. Especially the super-bright sort of Yellow, like that crayon that everyone would use for the sun when they were in daycare. I've always hated that color, and I have no idea why. (Sorry?)
11) A language you’d like to learn ?
SO MANY. I LOVE LANGUAGES. They are AMAZING. Aside from getting fluent in French/Italian/Mandarin first, German. It sounds really cool. My school doesn't offer it though, but I've been doing some stuff on my own. Right now, I know how to say "You are an apple" lol. Progress! XD
