Another #cosplayvscharacter for Petra. This time to compare the outfit! I really don’t like the wig from the front angle, but if I decide to wear her again I will try and fix that. Also spending a lot of time this weekend working on my next cosplay, look forward to updates on that soon!
Wanted to start off by sharing a #cosplayvscharacter of Petra. I really wanted to recreate her look from the comic, so if course I went for 80s goth with the crazy backcombed hair. I love love love the more modern look of Petra in the show, though. Not sure I matched her hair perfectly, but I certainly made a mess. 😂 So excited to share the rest of these photos! I consider Petra a closet cosplay because most of the items I used for her I already had on hand! The new items I ordered for her were mostly jewelry, such as the rings and clip on earrings. I even borrowed the base wig from a old cosplay of mine. I don’t think I’ll be cosplaying Nepeta from homestuck again anytime soon... 😄 It was a quick and fun cosplay to put together!
Goth Baby Petra Yolga💀 . . . .I wanna share a story, I'll make it short and fast. Weeks ago, in our switches GC, we've had a discussion about Taylor's badass scar and how she embraced it. Then everyone started talking about their own scars and shared funny stories and traumatic experiences behind it. Later on we've come to embrace and be proud and wear them like a tattoo, and in my case also laugh about it. I want to thank Taylor for being a good influence. ❤ . . Another one.😁🙈 So Ive mentioned one time on a MFS FB group page about my... kind of hesitation on drawing her scar on fanarts bec im a lil worried it might brought up unwanted memories... ...and someone, who do art engravings, replied that they share the same feeling. Lotta stuff going on as of late, so sorry if I am posting less often. I may continue to not post anything until I have some more progress on Krolia to share. I am pretty regularly posting on my Tumblr though. Which I kind of abuse like a Twitter account to just post random thoughts.
