we’ve just done a small update to our rules so be sure to give them a wee read over again, the new addition will be under the cut so like this post once you’ve read it.

when applying for multiple characters you must have at least one diverse characters for every third character you pick up. (e.g racially diverse, gender diverse).

hello lovelies! it is I, that heathen also known as ay !! rolling in from my frustrating timezone to say that I am returning to the admin team here at petrificushq and I couldn’t be more excited!!  a huge thank you to annie and mhairi for having my pestering self and the amazing cel in the admin team!! i love this for us!

All of our Death Eater spots are now filled but fear not! Now is also the perfect time to increase them to seven. This also means an increase to the number of characters who can have been contacted by Dumbledore about joining the order post graduation so please get in touch if you’re interested in that for your character.

it’s a crazy time out there in the world right now and so to ensure petrificus remains a fun and relaxing place for all it’s present members and any future members we will be suspending activity checks for the foreseeable future. all we ask is if you think you won’t be on for a while you drop a wee world or give a wee mention in the group chat. additionally, it is even more vital that if you intend to leave the group during this time you do not just go inactive but please let us know before hand, we will always be entirely understanding. we will also be sure to give everyone a fair warning before we reinstate them and will be more than happy to grant hiatuses at that point. we both truly want the best for all our members so if you have any concerns or just need someone to talk to; we are here for you.

hello members! we have some new updates for Petrificus so please give this a read and a like when you have read it!

first we are making some amendments to our rules. we know a lot of changes have been made but we are constantly working to improve the game and the experience here so please bear with us. starting from today our activity rules will change, every rp relies on an active dash and while wo love to make sure our game is fun and relaxed we still need it to be active! with that said an automatic unfollow will occur if an account is at a week of inactivity. as well, if characters end up on THREE consecutive activity checks it will also become an automatic unfollow. we love all of you and we never want to lose you, we understand real life comes first and we are always here if you need a break or a hiatus or anything at all so don’t be afraid to ask. we’d much rather have you take a hiatus than leave us!

second, we’d love to be more involved with in game birthdays. so if your character’s birthday is approaching the in game date, let us know and we will announce it on the main! we hope this will encourage more fun interactions as well and we will do our best to keep up with them ourselves but a reminder never hurts! we will be announcing the in game weeks with details of birthdays, clubs and other things so they can be kept track of in game.

and third, we will be having a mini event for Valentine’s day but rest assured it will not just be for couples! we want this event to be fun, relaxed and all inclusive. it will be posted in the next few days along with the new week update.

                      it is now the second week of february (7th to 13th)

within the last week: 

after chirstmas and january matches the qudditch leauge is taking it’s usual febuary break, matches will resume in march

knowledge of ‘for the light’ has continued to spread through word of mouth

the full moon was february 4th

after a brief respite winter has had it’s second wind with snow taking the place of rain

the dueling club is held their supervised sessions and won’t meet for tournaments till after qudditch

quidditch match dates have been confirmed

this week

noelia crabbe will have her birthday on february 7th

daisy hookum will have her birthday on february 13th

the stargazing club has asked the art club to come draw/paint/sketch a meteor shower on february 8th

the slug club will hold its monthly dinner on february 11th, members may bring one guest

the snow has let up and while there is some snow still on the ground and in the trees it is beginning to warm up as puddles outnumber snow banks
