Out of all the kittens Isabelle has raised over the years, her favorite has been a small black runt she named Shadow for rather obvious reasons. The kitten bonded with Isabelle almost immediately and when she was strong enough to move around on her own, she’d follow the demigoddess everywhere, even going as far as to mew loudly when Isabelle went places the young cat couldn’t follow. It would turn out that Shadow was a troublemaker and had an attitude very similar to her mistress’s.
