#petty fighting

I was rewatching Sleeping Beauty. There hasn't been petty rivalry like this until Alastor and Lu stepped into the arena.

Day 95: Petty Fighting

"Draco!" Harry shouted, standing in front of their refrigerator and staring in dumbstruck horror.

"Yes?" Draco asked, calm as anything as he wandered into the kitchen, book in hand.

He glared at him, "Why is the refrigerator full of cantaloupe?"

"I went shopping," Draco replied, "Like you asked," he added as he turned the page of his book as though he'd been reading all along.

Harry sighed, "This is about the laundry, isn't it?"

Draco pulled out a container of cantaloupe and popped a piece into his mouth, "I've no idea what you're talking about."

"I said I was sorry," Harry groaned. "You know I'm allergic to cantaloupe. It makes my mouth itchy."

"Oh, I'm sorry," Draco replied, biting into another piece of cantaloupe, "I forgot."

Harry stared at him and knew there were two choices here. He could be annoyed that his boyfriend was as petty as they come, or he could laugh about it.

In the end there wasn't really much of a choice as he looked at Draco's self satisfied little smirk.

He burst out laughing, "You're ridiculous," he said, pining Draco back against the island and pressing a kiss to his favorite freckle on Draco's neck.

"All of my white clothes are pink, Potter!"

"I told you I'd buy you new things," he laughed, nuzzling into Draco's neck because honestly, once he started it was nearly impossible to stop.

"Some of them have sentimental value!" Draco grumbled.

Harry pulled back, "What?"

"That white jumper?" he asked, "It was the first gift Hermione ever gave me."

"I"m sorry, babe-"

"The white button up was what I wore on our first date."

Harry brushed his thumbs over his hips, "Would it make you feel better if I told you that I learned a spell to remove color staining?"

"Only if it's true." Draco said with a pout.

"Well, let's try it and see," Harry said, pulling away from Draco and heading into their bedroom where the basket of pink clothes still sat, the offending red sock on the edge. "Let's just throw this little guy into the other hamper," Harry said, tossing the sock.

Draco huffed but he looked like he was trying hard not to smile and something eased in Harry's chest.

"Okay, which first?"

"Do something of yours first, just in case it turns out ghastly," Draco replied, pulling out one of Harry's t-shirts.

He pointed his wand at the shirt, "Colorem siphonis." They watched as the color in the shirt disappeared, leaving the tshirt whiter than it had been before. "Ta da!"

Draco nodded once and picked up another item and together they returned all of their clothes that had been turned pink to their original white.

When they finished Draco murmured, "Sorry about the cantaloupe."

Harry gave a playful little growl and tackled Draco back onto the bed, "You're lucky I love you," he said, pressing a kiss to Draco's soft, pink lips.

"I rather am, aren't I?"

"Not as lucky as me," Harry said, brushing Draco's hair back off his face and pressing a kiss to his forehead.

Draco wrapped his arms around Harry's waist, holding him closer, "Do you want to go grocery shopping with me?"

He couldn't help but laugh again, "I suppose I'd better."

"Good," Draco said, "Let's go then," he nudged Harry off of him and stood, "I'm starving. All I've had to eat today is bloody cantaloupe."

"Cutting off your nose to spite your face," Harry tsked.

Draco shrugged, "It was worth it." He laughed, "You should have seen the look on your face."

Harry couldn't help but laugh with him because he'd chosen to spend his life with this petty, ridiculous man and he couldn't imagine anything better.

I don't know whats going on with this 4chan bullshit but I'm staying on the funner side of tumblr that didn't get involved. -.- I only reblogged that little bit for my followers who would want to know. I get on here to look at and share art of my favorite fandoms and artists, sometimes even my own. The drama I see people go through on here is sad and I miss the old fun tumblr. l: But oh well.. I'll keep looking at cute pokemon art and fursuits. You guys have fun accomplishing nothing with your petty fighting. </3
