▕ * ░ ✧*゚ festival festivities feat. kingsari
Sacha without a doubt had enjoyed every single one of the performances his housemates had put on earlier that day, and of course tried not to say that he had a favorite in the bunch, but he would be lying if he said that he didn’t have a slight bias towards some of them. One in particular being Connor. The other musician had little faith in his own abilities, and often let his nerves get the best of him, which was something that Sacha often had problems with himself, but he was learning to get over that. He was learning to get over his anxiety of being on stage and he had been trying his best to get Connor to get over his performance anxiety as well. He was talented, so talented, and Sacha was trying to get him to see that. He was trying to get him to see that he was one of the people in Prove that had the most potential.
Before the father of two’s set, Sacha had gone backstage to see him and give him a few words of encouragement, which turned out to be a little less talking and a whole lot more lip movement, but it was just as effective as a real pep talk would be. At least, that’s what it seemed when Connor got on stage and killed it. Sacha couldn’t have been more proud of him, and that was proven when he met him off stage and greeted him with a hug and a bunch of congratulations coming at a mile a minute. The faith he had in the younger boy and in his abilities was irrefutable, and that was clear to see to anyone who saw them interact with each other.
The two of them had parted ways during most of the day. Sacha wanted to give Connor some time to hang out with his daughters at the festival and win them a few prizes at the game booths while he stayed behind and watched the rest of the Prove members do their sets. He hadn’t seen a good number of them perform before, and he wasn’t surprised by their talent. Each and every one of them went above and beyond to put on a good who for the audience, and Sacha was sure that none of the patrons in the crowd would go home disappointed.
Before the festival came to a close, Sacha set out to find Connor, hoping that he could find him and they could spend some time together before they all had to go home. Even though the crowds had dwindled a bit the later it got, Sacha was still having a hard time finding the other boy, and was just about to resort to pulling out his phone to call or text him when he finally caught sight of him. It wasn’t all that hard to see him, him towering over most of the people in the mob that he stood in the midst off. Quickly making his way over to him, Sacha nudged his shoulder gently when he came up beside him, giving him a look. “I almost couldn’t find you, man. Then I realized that I just needed to look for the tallest guy here.”
