     Marble Hornets ends. He no longer has a home. Just his car and a few possessions. Jay’s computer, the camera and tapes, and other more basic things.

     Now where to go to get away from all of this? Somewhere quiet, maybe a little colder. No matter where he goes there will probably be forests, so might as well just pick a direction.    North it is.

     Indiana is about as far as his car can make it before giving out. A little town called Hawkins. A smaller town, so there may be fewer jobs. Or more jobs, depending. Either way he doesn’t care. Just wants to start a new life.

     From the moment anyone sees him they could see something in his eyes. A haunted look. Paranoid. He’s seen things that he’d rather keep to himself. A feeling you might be familiar with.      A face you might have seen on TV at some point recently. A story all the way from Alabama, some pretty gruesome stuff. People going missing, ending up dead in violent ways, but nowhere near each other. One’s body was found there in a home. Another was found here in the woods, thus why the story was on TV. The only reason they were connected is that they went missing around the same time, and went to college together.

     This man.. This new guy. He was on the news. They were asking him questions about why he was found in the woods but not dead, when he too went to college with them. To make it worse, his house was burned down. He never answered their questions, just said ‘sorry I have to go’ or not saying anything at all.      No wonder he’s here now.
