Sam was completely in shock when they called him that his sister was in the hospital. He just got her back and now he was losing her again? No…That couldn’t be happening. Dean was there too, but they were only allowed into Peyton’s room one person at a time. Dean had gone in first and came out rather quickly. He squeezed Sam’s shoulder briefly before he went to sit down to wait and Sam went inside the room. He didn’t know what to say…Although it was common knowledge that people should talk to someone who was in a coma, so, he took a seat next to the bed and tried. “Hey, Peyton. Um, it’s Sam. You know, your brother? Ok, this is awkward. Anyway, um…You know…we just found each other again, I don’t want to lose you now, ok? I want to get to know you better and I’m sure Dean does too. You have to fight, ok? We’re Winchesters. We were born to fight. There’s no running away from it, because I’ve tried and you see where it brought me…Right back to fighting and hunting. I’m not saying you have to go hunting, I just want you to fight, ok. Ok.” Silence fell and he let it settle for a bit, then stood up and kissed her forehead. “I’ll see you around, Peyton.” Then he left the room, looking back one last time before he let the door fall closed behind him.
