While on the subject of Football Hall of Fame inductions (See my last post), I would be remiss not to mention Peyton Manning who was also inducted tonight. First- ballot. There was never any doubt. I had the great pleasure of photographing him and Eli several times for the yearly NFL Sunday Ticket campaigns for DIRECTV. Each time more fantastic than the year before. They were always ready to go for it, whether it be dressing up as a boy band, football cops, in tuxedos or just puttering around the house in slippers with Lionel Ritchie singing “Peyton on Sunday Mornings”. Peyton brought that same precision and professionalism to acting that he had on the field, usually nailing the first take with a dry sense of humor. A total pro - in everything. Big congratulations.
