The Pfänder (1064m. high) with it’s unique views of Lake Constance (Bodensee), Germany, Austria, Switzerland and 240 mountain peaks, is the most famous lookout point of the region.
With good visibility the view of the 3 countries reaches from the Allgäu and Lech valley Alps in the east, over to the Bregenz Forest, the steep mountain peaks of Arlberg region, Silvretta, and the Rätikon to the Swiss mountains and the foothills of the black forest in the west. Below us is Lake Constance surrounded by the Rhine valley and the Swabian hills.
Whether you go hiking, take a walk through the alpine wildlife park, visit the birds of prey show or just enjoy the view, relaxing on the terrace of the restaurant – your day on the Pfänder will be unforgettable.
Timetable
The Pfänder cable car operates daily from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Regular trips are on the full and half-hour,
every fifteen minutes for more than 10 people and
when required every 6 minutes for transporting up to 80 people.
A trip up the Pfänder lasts 6 minutes!
Evening trips
On request, evening rides are possible daily from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
(€ 61,00 per half-hour minus the fee for the cable car ascent and descent ride)

In the valley and mountain station, ramps allow comfortable access for wheel chairs, families with baby carriages and cyclists.
Dogs are transported in the Pfänder cable car free of charge. A leash is required for all dogs in the cable car and on the Pfänder.
The facilities for sport on the Pfänder and also leisure activities are not the responsibility of the Pfänder cable car company, but public or private third-parties. The Pfänder cable car company does not prepare, inspect or service these facilities. The Pfänder cable car company assumes no liability. The activities of the visitors are at their own risk.
It is expressly recommended in the alpine surroundings to note the weather conditions and their development.

Ski lifts
The ski lifts to the mountain station operate with good snow conditions daily from 10:00 to 4:30 p.m. With good snow conditions the slopes in the mountain are prepared.
