While Will Brooks won his main event, Robert Watley leads the way in the lightweight rankings in the PFL, earning five points with his second round finish of Thiago Tavares. If just goes to add to the urgency of finishing in the PFL if the72 fighters on the roster look to make their way to prize money for their weight class at the end of the 2018 season.
Standout fight of the night is Kayla Harrison’s debut where she earned a first-round finish via armbar over Brittney Elkin. While a women’s division is underway, no points were awarded to Harrison but according to Ray Sefo, the 2019 season would have one and after Harrison’s performance, she is certainly a force to be reckoned with in the PFL.

Brandon Halsey's win at PFL 2 against Smealinho Rama was downright crazy — but so too was the Illinois athletic commission's ruling of when the fight ended, which cost Halsey a point in the PFL light heavyweight tournament.
PFL President Ray Sefo and PFL League President Caros Silva had plenty to talk about following Thursday's PFL 2 in Chicago, including the Jason High vs. Efrain Escudero finish, and a couple other controversial rulings by the athletic commission in Illinois.
PFL 2 on Thursday night in Chicago had a lot of bizarre finishes, but none was more controversial than Efrain Escudero's "submission" of Jason High.
Vinny Magalhaes is no stranger to big fights, but at PFL 2 on Thursday in Chicago, he took the first step towards a possible million dollar bounty.
