Necro's Journey: Open
The soft glow of the lights above hummed sweetly to the tune of his synthetic mind. The wiring of the room was fixed by the unit himself, he wished none of the brightness so he re-calibrated the settings. When entering the room of the unit placed the brightness to be dimmed to, what he thought was still bright, sixty percentile was the entering number. At this time the number was towards the thirty-five percentile. He enjoyed the dim lighting, the brightness stung his sensory visualization and the thoughts that raced in his mind became an endless pit of frightful details and a fruitful field of new ideas. Yes, the dim lighting helped his synthetic mind whirl softly like the humming from the lights above. His inventions flourished about him, some hidden to the another's eyes but not to him and other roamed about on their small metallic legs.
He had two animals he developed just for himself. The first was a spider, it was a mixture of a daddy long legs and a tarantula, it had a small but curvy thick body and long legs to boot. While the other was a small lizard he used mostly for a sort of "house alarm", the unit felt it was needed. The logical approach to trust was to the un-human strange to boot. The spider was titled, necromancer, the name came from the black metal he used for the little robotic unit. The lizard was given the name of Captain, Indus held an attachment to the name he didn't understand why. Uncommonly he was inventing, his head hung low to the table that was filled with paper and his shoulders forward. He was drawing as if though he was a scientist.
Observation, more mad man then scientist. "Necromancer... record the following..." The unit spoke then the little creature beeped twice softly. The unit proceeded to speak to his creature but then he turned, Necromancer would normally reach upwards using a silk web cording machine that held the small creature to be useful to be on ceilings and other places. Indus turned his head to watch as Necromancer, "No-no-no-no... Ne-Necro-necromancer co-com-come ba-back!" The unit shouted as he followed the small creature.
Where was the small spider going?
