aw shit, i dont wanna say anything because of the whole “baseless accusation” thing, rather base this on information ive been seeing and small hints here and there, especially because ive literally just met her. but im guessing many her friends think aradia is depressed.... im not gonna lie, that very first line is breaching on the idea of what people going through depression say whenever they act upon smth in a different manner than they usually would daily, and thus why people pin it on their disorder like “oh u think im saying that bc im depressed, huh” which can be for a few people who don’t like when others bring attention to their struggles
that could also be said for the state of her mind which talks with the dead
essentially, aradia doesnt have the most cheerful sources to talk to
