What she says: I'm fine
What she means: No, but why did the anime do everything in its power to keep Usagi and Mamoru apart? Like, they're so madly in love in the Manga and their bond is so strong and it was interesting and captivating without constantly putting their love in danger. Meanwhile the anime is like, "So, we're going to make it like 100x harder for them to be together for no reason at all. And he's going to keep getting brainwashed and losing his memories. Or die. Or get super sick so he can't do anything. Also he'll be kind of a jerk to her, even when they're together."
Happy 3 year anniversary sailor moon crystal!
This amazing, wonderful, epic show gave us all so much. We experienced immense feels, uncontrollable tears, astounding joy, contagious happiness, dramatic sadness, and never ending hope.
3 years ago, Sailor Moon Crystal premiered worldwide online and now, 3 years later it’s in all our homes, on our shelves, in popular stores and continuing on to make new movies, sequels and possibly even a prequel in the future.
Happy 25th anniversary Sailor Moon. Your story truly is legendary! Happy anniversary Sailor Moon Crystal! Long may you reign.
Remember when season 1 aired of Sailor Moon Crystal and everybody thought we were just getting season 1? People still confuse season 1 to this day as dark kingdom and black moon.
I see a pattern here. 3 animation directors, 3 directors, 3 projects. Their plan with crystal comes in 3 parts. What’s coming up in July? Crystal’s 3 year anniversary! Even season 3 had 3 opening and endings! They are treating Crystal in a 3 part special project.
Expect season 4 dream, yes, but if they were just going to give you dream they wouldn’t have used the word “sequel,” they would have said “phase or term” like they did with season 3. Yes, everything I am telling you is riding on that word “sequel” and the way they treated season 1 in the past. (Sequel means conclusion or the last part of anything, the closing.)
So what should technically still be season 3, is getting the same treatment season 1 did with 2 parts/periods. It’s confusing because as moonie veterans, we all know the layout should look like this: season 1 dark kingdom, season 2 black moon, season 3 infinity, season 4 dream, season 5 stars. But technically, they did season 1 in 2 parts or “periods” which is the term they are using from the sailormoon-official.com website, under the animation menu, to describe season 1. So “period 1 and 2,” “3rd term,” and “sequel” - those are their words from the official website.
Personally I prefer to call them season 1, 2, 3, 4, &5 but that’s just me. #just let me dream #take me to the stars
Source (http://www.sailormoon-official.com/25th/) “We have decided to produce the sequel of anime “Sailor Moon Crystal!” More information will be announced shortly. Please look forward to it”
Yes, we are getting a “sequel” to Sailor Moon Crystal in 2017 for Sailor Moon’s 25th anniversary! It is officially confirmed! We are getting season 4 & season 5!
Dream AND Stars!
(2014) SMC Interview by missdream.org
Including the tokusatsu of 10 years ago, this will be the third time the series has been brought to life on film. What are your goals this time? Sakai: Ever since the beginning our concept has been to bring the world of the manga just as it is to life on screen, so my thoughts were “Let’s aim this at the women who watched the show in real time years ago and offer them something that glimmered in their childhood.” I thought it would be good if we could make a show that made women in their late twenties think “How beautiful!” or “How cool!” or even “This makes me nostalgic!” These women have become members of society, experienced their own hardships and have experienced a reality that’s different from that childhood dream of “a prince on a white horse.” Sako: In other words, it’s so that “jaded” women who are tired of real life can forget it for a while? (laughs) Sakai: Ahahaha. I hope they’ll remember the dreams they had when they were young girls. So I want to portray beauty, coolness, and aestheticism from a woman’s perspective. I hope to give them the delicate acting of a girls’ anime, the beautiful flow of the clothes and hair and make every important detail beautiful.
Some baby chibis :D
