                                   it’s LATE when she finally emerges  from her room and wanders downstairs, the floorboards creaking beneath each step.  she’s dressed to go out, which she plans to do after mother hen is fast asleep, but for now she stops in the kitchen. despite passing sidney who looked relatively ( preoccupied ) at the table, she doesn’t speak until she’s already at the fridge, pulling out a bottle of water. ‘ where’s my warden ? ‘ she asks after a long beat of silence. conversation with sidney is forced, she’s losing her PATIENCE. she knows it’ll all pay off in the end, but god, what she wouldn’t give to slice the bitch up here and now. too bad that wasn’t the PLAN and she had to force the hint of a smile to her lips. ‘ oops, i meant my MOTHER. ‘
