I am curious -how did Hornet’s plurality affect her life before canon? How did it function as a coping mechanism for all the bad shit she went through?

The Queen sat up, the silence of night crowding in around her. Its the only time she's free of her chains...free of him. Free to breathe. She tilted her head, her gaze falling to the warm body by her side, curled up in the soft bed. White silk pooled around her, relaxing off her stark black body.
"Oh...well we can't have that." Queen chuckled to herself, then reached out. The silk hummed at her touch, at her reach, and slowly tightened once more. "There we are...." She leaned close and kissed the soft doll's delicate temple.
"You have to tell the others eventually...I can't wake up once every month...I can't garauntee that."
The sleeping bug squirmed and pulled the blanket around her tighter. Queen pulled back and looked up. "....one day your love will feed them too. One day...they'll notice it too. But for now...its a nice night time snack."
Interesting nightmare Lace has got there. I presume Lace is aware of the plurality then?
Queen hummed as she bound her chest. "Hmm? Aware? Most likely not. The others wish no one knows. I do not care...but I am only allowed as the others sleep."
