Generation 2
From left to right: Eos, Andromeda, Io, Pomona, Cassius, Calypso, Cassandra, Phaedros, Hesiod, Helios, Peleus.
Phaedros tried not to dwell to much on Io and what she might be doing. He knew she was strong and could handle herself in any situation and that thought let him breath a sigh of relief even on the hardest days.
“Safe journeys” Phaedros said in a gruff voice.
The girls returned home with light hearts. They had managed to lift the curse. At home they embraced their fathers, everyone in too much shock to do anything but smile, laugh, and hold each other close.
“Pomona, I know you’ve decided you want to help break my curse but I need you to wait a little longer, alright.”
“Yes Father.” Pomona answered.
“There. At least on of my girls grew up with proper manners.” Phaedros thought to himself.
Pomona of course, while well mannered, had no intention of waiting any longer than she absolutely had to to break the curse.
“Well you all know why we called you together this morning...” Phaedros began.
“And I know exactly what to do about it!” Andromeda interrupted.
Phaedros has been a ball of stress every day since the conversation with his daughters. Tonight he came home from a meeting with the council and passed out in the bath.
