“UH….” Yuuri even hesitates to finish the first thought that formed in his head. He pulled away from whatever pink think Viktor had carefully draped on his shoulder – pulled away least he be forced to wear something else of the same color.

“I think it’s more of your color, Vitya. BLUE’Smore of mine…”

Victor pouted at Yuuri’s lukewarm reaction to his gift.

“But Yuuri...!” he protested. “It’s just a pj! It was so warm and fluffy I couldn’t really help myself! Look, it even has fluffy bunny ears!”

Victor lifted his most recent purchase in front of Yuuri’s eyes.

“I mean, it really  is warm! Since we’re moving to Petersburg, I want to make sure you’re comfortable! It can get a bit  cold in winter in Russia...  Oh, well, I’ll just buy a new one, blue for you, and change this one to my size then! Twin pj’s! Isn’t it cute??”

guanghong had never really understood the appeal studying at cafes. he could understand if one needed to pull an all-nighter but the dorm turned the lights off at 11PM, and the only available place was a 24 hour open McDonald’s or cafe-- which was the case for many students back home in beijing-- but studying in a cafe in the middle of the day seemed a little counterproductive. they were too loud, filled with so many distractions; not only noisy customers, but also the over priced cakes...

it wasn’t until after he became a university student himself that he understood the appeal of cafes. those close to campus were usually filled with busy students anyway, and so they weren’t too noisy. having such a close supply to coffee was very handy as well-- which was another thing he’d gotten used to after becoming an arts student. coffee had never been appealing to him before, but these days, a cup of black coffee was necessary to get through any study session (occasionally some red bull as well, though that mixture usually reserved for exam week).

another necessity to remain (relatively) sane, was a friend. guanghong had only met yuuri that semester, but he would consider him one of his few friends there (and hopefully yuuri didn’t just consider him as that annoying freshman who asks about everything, but he had no way of knowing for sure). 

just as guanghong looks towards the counter, considering getting another cup of coffee, he spots yuuri entering the cafe. he’s quick to wave him over with a smile, too happy about finally getting a distraction.
