Doesn't it cover the story of Finwe's kids, Gondolin and the stones that... Feanor makes? [I have the book but I still have never got around to reading it... it's the only one out of LOTR and The Hobbit I haven't read yet]

It does. :) There is a ton of backstory that's only alluded to in the Hobbit and LotR, and a lot more that doesn't make it into those at all, or only obliquely. If/when you get around to reading it and want to squee (or cry - you will! - or ask anything), feel free to poke me. ^^

3. What is/was your relationship with your parent(s) like?

Whooo boy.

OK. So. My dad and I get along really well. Fairly similar views on a lot of things, though he kinda makes fun of religion more than I really appreciate... But yeah, we're chill. We watch movies and the Daily Show and Colbert Report and shit together. 

Then there's my mom

So. Like... she's a nice person. Like she does genuinely care about people and I really think she's trying to do good and I get that. But. Yeah. Really homophobic/transphobic. We also just don't agree on some other things, especially political stuff. It's. Awkward. Painful. Idk. It sucks. Cuz I know her motivations are good and fueled by worry and care and shit. But her actions are not... good.

The Winter Solider has dreams sometimes. He doesn't know if they're nightmares or memories. All he knows is that when he wakes there's a name on his lips that he can't utter. Doesn't know who's name it is. Doesn't know why it puts ice in his heart and leaves him breathless. The Winter Soldier dreams and sees blue in a river of red.

I'll reply with a happy headcanon of mine because Bucky needs more fluff:I headcanon that Bucky totally has a thing for kittens and once he has all his memories back and was finally able to leave the Winter Soldier behind, he gets two adorable tiny kittens who he loves very much. The kitties are super fond of his metal arm and will be found snuggling up to it in the summer because it heats up in the sun and is the perfect little warm napping place for little kitties. (Steve might or might not snap pictures when Bucky dozes off as well. He also might or might not have one of those pictures as his phone background - Tony insisted Steve get a super shiny smartphone)
