I often find myself wondering how many worlds I crossed before the universe finally grew tired of watching me wander and quietly placed me before you. I had spent so long believing that I was only meant to keep walking—that every home I found would one day become another memory tucked between the pages of a travel journal, another souvenir resting on a shelf with nowhere to truly belong.I thought I understood what it meant to collect beautiful things.

Then I met you.

It is funny, isn't it? Of all the moments that could have changed my life, it was something so ordinary. A handshake. An introduction arranged by the Trailblazer. Caelus will never let us forget that he was responsible for it, and I suppose he has earned the right to be unbearably proud.

I remember looking into your eyes for the first time. I could not explain why they felt familiar, only that something within me had finally become quiet. The galaxies I had searched so tirelessly no longer felt endless. For the first time in what seemed like forever, I did not feel the need to ask myself where I would go next.

Because, somehow...I had already arrived.

You once asked me why I still buy souvenirs when I have nowhere left to travel. The truth is, I don't collect them because I fear forgetting the places I've been. I collect them because each one reminds me that every road, every detour, every lonely night beneath unfamiliar stars eventually led me to you.

There are many things I love about you.

The way you always brush my hair before we sleep, as though untangling every worry I carried through the day. The way your hand instinctively reaches for mine without either of us realizing. The way you look at our little cottage as if it were grander than any palace, simply because we are in it together.

Most of all, I love the silence we share.

Not the silence born from distance, but the kind where no words are needed because being beside you has always been enough. You have never asked me to stop being a traveler. Instead, you became the destination I had been searching for all along.

If Heaven truly guided my steps into this life, then perhaps this was the miracle it wished for me—not another crown, nor another blessing, but the chance to love and be loved by someone who sees every fragment of who I am and chooses to stay.

Should tomorrow greet us as gently as today, I pray we may spend it together. Should fate ask us to walk through hardship once more, then let us walk hand in hand as we always have. And should there come a day when the stars call one of us farther than the other...

Do not search for me in the heavens.

You will find me where I have always been.

Happy 1st Anniversary PhaiRei!! ☀️🪽 It’s taken me quite a while to draw this piece because at first I dont know what I wanna come up with, so with my sheer willpower, I decided not to chicken out and do my best with with artwork!! As usual thank you for supporting my little corner of the internet, and that I have finally had the guts to really show what I want to share with you all, PhaiRei is not just a ship to me but also one of the many reasons why I always wanted to excel in art.
