God, I remember when I first entered the fandom. When I could scroll through the PHAN tag on tumblr, liking almost every picture and phanfiction. I dread the tag now. All that's in the phan tag now is shitstorm or rants. Trust me, this isn't a rant, more just me expressing my sadness. I love Dan so much, but I'm not picking whatever fucking sides everybody has created. I will not join the new "phandom 2.0", because, even though I respect her motivation, starting a new fandom is total bullshit. Being in a fandom is, you are a fan of ____. It's not a fucking club, it shouldn't have branches. It's a fan base. I'm not going to state how I feel about the deleted tweets, people preferring Dan over Phil, or what other storms people have pulled out there asses. I'm not disappointed in Dan or Phil, I'm disappointed in all you "fans". I'm not telling you not to care, I'm telling you to SHUT THE FUCK UP. Nobody cares if you think something happened in the past, present, or future. They're friends now, leave it be. I just want to like pictures again and worship my tall lesbian and his lion loving friend. Get your drama, tweet screen shots, and damn conspiracy off Tumblr. Thanks, sorry if this ended up "rant-y" I will love my youtubers forever, but someone needs to convince me not to leave this crumbling fandom. I'm sick of it.

Right ok, instead of creating a whole "Phandom 2.0" why not just be the same Phandom but quit getting involved in other peoples drama? I mean, I never really see any drama on my Twitter or Tumblr, I guess I follow all the nice people. And the majority of the drama I have seen are simply between a small group (maybe 2-3 people) but others get involved and I really don't know why...

This 2.0 thing wont even work considering it will be the same people....So why not just carry on supporting Dan and Phil and making new friends and all that jazz and forget about this, yeah?

(I'm not even fully aware of whats going on so I cant say much on the matter, but I thought I'd share my opinion. Not that anyone will actually read this)

Whatever the intentions behind the 'Phandom 2.0', whether they be for the greater good or whatever, its just pointless. It's made to avoid supposed 'shit storms' tbqfh i had no clue there even was any shit storms going on, but think about it, whats Tumblr about? Whats YouTube about? At it's core it's about getting attention, this isn't necessarily a bad thing, wanting attention is a part of human nature. What do shit storms do? Create attention. No matter WHAT you try to do, shit storms and attention seekers WILL exist and making this little 'phandom 2.0' will do nothing but create friction in the Phandom and essentially bring segregation into it.

You know the best thing to do? Ignore the shit going on. (I know this seems hypocritical cause i'm making this post in the first place but i never get involved but i feel it necessary) Messaging that person about the shit going on? More shit's being created. Messaging Dan/Phil regarding the shit going on? Oh look, you're spreading the shit. Creating another Phandom in the Phandom? Oh no the sewage plant just opened and now we're all covered in the shit. 

Seriously guys, we are a FANDOM, we come together to FANGIRL over things do we really need to act all pretentious and act like certain people in the fandom are BETTER than one another? Do you have any idea how ridiculous that sounds? Do we really need to get that ridiculous? idk man lets just all stahp with the shit and do what we came here to do, fangirl in peace.
