Headcanon that Christine chastised Erik and made him swear not to do potentially dangerous pranks everytime la Carlotta was singing. However Erik wouldn't go out without vengeance and took on boycotting Mr. Reyer' s piano so that it would blast the Toccata and Fugue in D minor at random moments in rehearsals. When confronted by Christine about this he would say it was "just a non harmful reminder for the harpy not to screech too high" .
