with regards to the vibrating Nimbus, I heard a story that a lot of people bought it for their sons and nephews and such so they could be like Harry, but the broom was apparently very popular with the girls and a lot of parents thought it was just because they wanted to be like Hermione and were really pleased that they had taken on a good role model like her and that just makes me wanna cry laughing
