The Phantom Creeps will be released on Blu-ray on November 12 via VCI Entertainment. It’s presented in its original, 12-chapter serial form, which runs for a total of 240 minutes.

Horror icon Bela Lugosi stars in the 1939 serial alongside Robert Kent, Dorothy Arnold, Regis Toomey, and Edward Van Sloan. Ford Beebe and Saul A. Goodkind direct.

The Phantom Creeps has been remastered in 2K from the original 35mm fine grain elements. No special features are listed.

Dr. Alex Zorka (Bela Lugosi), an eccentric scientist, carries on mysterious experiments in his secret laboratory with the aid of Monk (Jack C. Smith), an ex-convict. Zorka has invented many strange and powerful weapons of warfare, including a devisualizer belt which allows him to operate without being seen, and a terrifying mechanical robot eight feet tall. He also possesses a deadly meteorite fragment from which he extracts a strange element which can induce suspended animation in an entire army. 12 Chapters.
