What? Don’t you mean alternate beginning? Nope! please read info under the cut!!!

Kilts were actually banned in Scotland and the rest of the UK(mostly) until Queen Victoria developed a liking to Scotland, remembering the fond times her husband and she had spent there before he passed. She ended the law that banned the highland way of life. Soon the highlander was portrayed as a “noble savage” and wearing the full kilted regalia became VERY popular with the wealthy, even among non-scots! Very trendy!

My grandfather was a MacLeod (that was originally my last name!) and I wanted Jonathan to wear our tartan (well one of them, its complicated.). Every clan has a motto! Ours is “Hold Fast”! The emblem is a bull. Kinda fitting for Jonathan. The other motto is in Gaelic:  I birn quil I se ( As long as I see I shall burn (with loyalty/passion))

As for Dio, He is in the MacDougal tartan. Their motto is “Conquer or Die” (or Victory or Death)! I wanted to pick a clan whose motto suited him.

I LOVE Scotland so much (of the three heritages that make me up, Scottish is my fave!) and i have always wanted to do this. the result is not quite what I wanted but I am still happy. I actually first thought of it when @kousakukawajiri mentioned Joseph being Scottish. I really liked the HC even though I still HC the Joestars as English. But I think it would be really cool!!! originally I just had jona in this flexin’ like a proper victorian noble man with a bod does but he looked lonely so in goes the lovely erina! (also can you tell my vector style sucks with jona and erina lmao)

real talk tho I’m so glad theres an entire week for my favorite part like god

also I might not be able to do a lot of the days bc Imma be with family during it but I’m gonna try! gotta show my phantom blood love lmao!
