What movie character would you most love to be? I almost said Buffy but I would want to be SMG’s Buffy and not the movie version. I’ll go with Black Widow but only so I could be someone I am totally not.
Do you think a one-true love is real? Or can there be more than one; in a lifetime? Like if someone is widowed or divorced or whatever. Part of me wants it to be real but then part of me thinks that would be really sad for widowed people. As long as the love is genuine I don’t think one needs to spend time comparing it to how much that person loved someone else previously—even though most of us do that. Ultimately I think we make it a one-true love by committing to the relationship and making it work rather than constantly looking for someone “better.”
What celebrity are you most crazy about? And why? Details!! :P Michael Fassbender. I’m not sure exactly what it is. I love me a good Irish accent—although you don’t hear his enough—but I think it’s that he’s just ridiculously talented. I find talent to be a total turn-on. Plus I love how he seems to live life to the fullest. I think that’s part of what makes him such a good actor too. He just gives all of himself to whatever he is doing at the moment. I envy that as someone who tends to be more cautious. Not to mention that his eyes and his smile are heart-stoppingly beautiful. But even with his smile…he’s just all in. That’s why it’s so huge. (I’m going to avoid the obvious joke about huge things and Fassy.)
Who do you think is the most beautiful female celebrity? Scarlett Johansson. She’s gorgeous but not in the stick-figure, cookie-cutter kind of way that Hollywood so often glorifies.
What was your most embarrassing moment in life? I was teaching a class when the stomach bug I was fighting off reared its ugly head. I had to bolt out of the classroom and down the hallway to the bathroom or things would have been ugly! I’m sure my students were just confused but I, of course, was horrified when I had to walk back into the room and address why I’d just run out of the room. For a good couple years after that I always made sure I had Pepto on-hand in case of emergency.
What is your best childhood memory? This was the hardest one for me honestly and I’m not sure why. I’m going to go with going up north to a cabin with not only my parents but my grandparents, my uncle & his family, and my aunt. They only lived about 6 hours away but still we only saw each other once a year at most. It was wonderful to have us all together at the lake. We swam, sat out in the sun, ate, and talked. Nothing hugely exciting happened but we all bonded.
Do you prefer sweet or salty foods? What are your favorites? Sweet! I’m a big fan of ice cream. I love almost anything that combines mint and chocolate although I do also love peanut butter and chocolate together.
When do you feel the sexiest? (ex. Something you wear. Something you do.) What is your best physical attribute? Honestly it’s probably after I exercise or when I dance—which I don’t do often enough in public. I think it’s to do with a) taking care of myself and b) being more acutely aware of my body in those times. I’d go with eyes or hair.
What country would you move to if you couldn’t live where you currently do? If I had the means/a good job opportunity, I would totally want to live on the west coast of Ireland.
