I'm not sure how I feel about this, seeing as her family ruined my life and there's a chance she's lying to gain our trust, but her Miku vouches for her and Suisei trusts her.
I just hope Suisei's trust isn't misplaced, or we will all pay the consequences.
there was a semi-frantic knock before she ran into the pharmacy, keeping her injured arm in the sleeve of her newfound bear zip-up.
“Is Kiyoi here? Or- or Minori? It’s important- tell them it’s Aki- Akko. Akko Mitsuki. “
she could feel her wound bleeding a little once more. She strained herself to get here.

Kiyoi frantically openes the door, only to come face to face with Akko, who had a noticeable sling around her arm.
She looked more disorganised and disheveled than usual, almost as if something traumatic happened to her
Something that involved her arm.
She did something stupid, didn't she?
He steps aside to allow her to enter "Please come in and have a seat. Sorry if it feels lonely here. Kanade has some stuff to do at the Untitled Pharmacy and Minori just left for her office."
"I can feel something is extremely wrong with her."

"Would you mind waiting for a while, Minori? I'm still looking for that lilac brooch I bought the other day."
Kiyoi... that's not Minori.

The pharmacist quickly emerges from the back, his gray hoodie slightly covered with dust.
"You didn't hear anything, right?" He asks while brushing his hoodie with his hands.
Wait, did this person just say they know me from Airi?
What do they want...
"Why yes, I'm Pharmacist Kiyoi. How may I help you?"
A girl enters the lobby- though she seems to just be looking around. She looks like Akko- but the mannerisms aren’t there. She’s calm, not nervous- not flinching at sounds nobody else seems to hear, not even murmuring to herself.. just… looking.
It had been another few uneventful days since Kanon's visit to the Pharmacy to notify Kiyoi about her relationship with Airi. So uneventful in fact, that his mind started to wonder about Akko and Nozomi during practice sessions (and accidentally missed a cue, causing him to hit Minori on the head)
As much as he wanted to check up on them, part of him knew that by doing so, he'll be forced to confront the worst case scenario, should it come true.
Despite him hating dealing with uncertainties, he would rather not know if Nozomi was forced away or not if it meant he could stay in his dream a bit longer.
But now, with this guest that seemed like Akko, but different, he had no choice but to wake up from his dream and be confronted with the cruel reality, one that he kept denying would happen
"Empty" Miku, who had suddenly appeared on his phone placed on the counter, said before disappearing.
There she goes, all cryptic and stuff
That's just how she is.
He brushed his hoodie, stepped out from behind the counter and approached Akko(?)
"Akko? Or is this Aki?"
I've been wondering, Kiyoi, what's stopping you from just being more forceful to that girl? I know I could probably get a solid answer if I asked Mom instead of you, but I want to hear it from you - Akio
As much as a part of me wants so much to force my way in, she is not at the point where she is willing to truly face herself, so all I can do is light the path and keep hoping that she will one day be willing to truly do so.
ah.. it’s.. a bit embarrassing to be here- but..
she takes a deep breath, trying to get over herself. She fidgets with the rings of the small book in her hands
“is- is Kiyoi here by chance? I uh. Need to talk to them about something.”

A warm and comforting smile from a girl with long, blueish white hair greets her.
🎼"He's taking some time to freshen up. That morning run he did knocked him out for a bit. I'll tell him you're here."
The girl goes to the back and after a while, Kiyoi comes out.
"Sorry for making you wait.. Wait, huh?"
He takes a moment to fully process what was happening.
📓"If i knew you were coming, I wouldn't have gone all out on my morning run."
📓"Now I understand what Kanade meant by 'you're a guest I'm hoping to meet'."
📓"She really should stop saying cryptic things like that."
He takes out his phone and texts Minori to tell her about this.
📓"I guess my day just started early. So, what is it you wanted to talk about?"
Kiyoi was about to close the pharmacy when he spotted Karin running towards the pharmacy with a plastic bag filled with things that he couldn’t exactly identify at a glance.
She put the bag on the table and clutched her knees, panting. “Thank goodness… I made it … in time… or I won’t … be able … to enter…”
“Well, actually even if you reached here after I had closed shop for the day, you can just give me a call and I’ll let you in.” he corrected.
“Oh yeah…”
While Karin was catching her breath, Kiyoi took the opportunity to examine the contents of the plastic bag.
He found some wrapping paper, a perfume bottle, a receipt for a cake and some peach cookies.
Wrapping paper??? Oh right, Karin is preparing for her birthday…
Karin noticed him checking out the plastic bag and quickly took it off the counter, placing it on the ground next to her, but not before taking out the box of peach cookies and placing it on the counter.
“I heard from Miku that you love these now, so I got you some.”
“Miku, you didn’t have to tell her that." He blushed. "Thanks for the cookies.”
“You’re welcome.” Karin paused for a short moment and took a deep breath.
“So…” she asked despondently “Did you call me here to tell me to give up on Chifumi even though I told you I can’t?”
She took a deep breath and braced for his confirmation, only to be met with him shaking his head.
“Nonono. I called you here to ask if you could give her my present.” He explained.
Karin blinked several times. “Huh?????! You… actually want to give her a birthday gift after all this time???”
He scratched the back of his head. “I know it sounds weird after all those years of not wanting to have anything to do with her. Heck, the me of a few months ago would be shocked and confused too.”
“Nonono.” Karin shook her head. “It really doesn't.”
Kiyoi looked away from Karin and gripped his left arm “Are you sure … she’ll accept it?”
“Why not just see for yourself?”
“I… don’t think I’m ready to face her again so soon… I mean, I only just realized how hard I was on her all these years, so I feel I need more time to prepare myself to meet her and apologise.”
