Anyway these are some of the brands from the July BeautyTap review round! Keep reading to find out about the other products from this review round!
First up we have Pharmagel. There is the Hydracream which was a retinol that I didn’t find to be drying (and that’s saying something since most of the other ones I’ve tried have been). There’s the Enzyme Ex-Cell Exfoliater that I loved since it can be used so many different ways. Not only can it be used on your face, but you can use it as a body scrub, or even on your feet. We all love a versatile product! Lastly was the Hydra Cleanse which is suggested to also be used on your decolletage, so my favorite way to use it is in the shower. It can also be used as a shaving agent (but I haven’t tried it out that way just yet).
Next up is this amazing Flex brush from Kareco. This is honestly my new favorite brush. You can use it in wet or dry hair, and the brush being vented makes it perfect to use with a hair dryer. This is the easiest brush to clean that I’ve ever used. I even made a video about how easy it is to clean the hair brush which you can view here.
Lastly was the moisturizing night cream and gel to milk cleanser by the black owned business Yangu. I’ll be honest, this line is for people who don’t mind scented skin care. The moisturizer set off my sinuses big time. I also have to say that this cleanser is not my favorite. As a makeup artist, I prefer cleansers that are eye safe. This one specifically says to avoid the eye area, so you don’t get it in your eyes. The few times I did use it, I was able to tell the scent wasn’t as strong in the wash as it was in the moisturizer. The cleanser was a fun experience though.
