Murdoc made it half-way across the kitchen before he noticed an intruder, though he wasn’t a particularly jumpy person he’d been so rattled he dropped his jug of milk. He was supposed to be alone, he wouldn’t be wearing the boa if he wasn’t absolutely sure of it.
