Black people and POC PEOPLE IN GENERAL

I'd like to ask you to take a minute and ask yourselves: why can't you be racist? I'm sorry but the minute you say you aren't it's a goddamn lie. "Oh white peoples are so terrible all they want is for POCs to be oppressed so they can do whatever they want because they can" fuck off. Have you been friends with a white person? And I'm not talking about the people who are rich and in positions of power? I'm mean normal people just trying to get on in the world just like you. No? Oh that's right, you're too good to be friends with these white people because we're just as racist as the people in power. No. I've been through more than most of you have. I might not have the problems of transgenders or other people that kill themselves, I sure as hell went through what you did when you were: deciding if you could end your life, if you were pretty/handsome enough to date the cute kid your math class, if you should go on a diet, if you could get into the college you want or if it would be too expensive on your parents. The scholarship I got for college is based on my parents income and how high of grades I got in high school. I got good grades, and my mother was so far beneath the poverty line I'm surprised that she made it as long as she did doing what she was doing for me and my three siblings. Have you at anytime doubted where you would live AS A SIX year old in the back seat of your car home from school? Yeah I did. I have my share of problems and while I'm not a poc, I did learn to love myself, be self reliant, and manage to get to college and in a year I'll be graduating my undergrad. I fucking worked my ass off to get where I am in life. IM HAPPY. But it want without its share of difficulties either. So before you tell me that my privileged is white privilege remember that while my skin tone is white, I sure as hell have had just as many problems as you. At least you can get scholarships for being you. I have to rely on extra money from the jobs that I can't get because it's been reserved for a poc. I'm all about empowerment for poc. I'm just saying you should take it to a website that matters. Or the outside world . Enough of you are old enough to bring real notice to the problems you're facing. Posting selfies of yourself is not going to spark anything. Real life action will. If you've been following my argument with phased0ut that's what I'm trying to say. You need to get off your computer and go outside and spread awareness, not preach to the choir. Cause the choir don't give a shit anymore.
