Just did a prototype testing for my Gundam Unicorn Phenex costume's transformation mechanism (V-fin).. This the WIP photos of my Gundam Unicorn Phenex costume's wings/shields. I will be adding the phenex tails later... Each wing is about 1.86m/ 6.1ft and weighs around 1.1kg/2.4lbs.. I anticipate the final weight to be twice the current one after the structure and mechanics are integrated.. I have done a lot of weight reduction (by around 500g) by cutting out holes in the corrugated plastic... I used a thinner PVC wrapping as compared the body to reduce the weight further... These are the biggest mecha cosplay wings I have done so.. This is the Unicorn mode (except for the head) as I have yet to construct the light boxes and transformation mechanism for the Dsstroy mode.
