✔#MixCloud @PhenomRadio #PhenomenalRadio was established in 2007. Its start began at KSTQ Hot 97.3 “Lubbock's #1 for Hip-Hop, R&B y Mas" initiating the spot light of underground artists throughout Lubbock, TX and surrounding cities (known as the #806Movement ) which began the first #indiespotlight hour on a radio station ever in the West Texas region. KSTQ's Music Director at the time, Gilbert Saldana, noticed the consistency and dedication in the then local artist Slate Stone, and decided who better to lead the 806 Movement and gave him a call. Slate Stone, an artist on Phenomenal Entertainment with no prior technical radio experience accepted the offer with no pay, which was the birth of Phenomenal Radio. Phenomenal Radio is an independent, online station that continues to showcase music from all over the world with many more advancements in the works.
