Both Rolling Stones and Bowie somehow disappointed Jagger, so he tried to become a solo star again, yet Primitive Cool didn’t achieve the numbers of She’s The Boss. Then again, allow me to say something strange – the Rolling Stones wouldn’t have survived without Mick Jagger, but he also wouldn’t have survived without Rolling Stones. Primitive Cool shows that as the album feels like a collection of songs that his cohorts in the band could’ve developed into something interesting. I mean, the tune on the link sounds like an outcast from one of the group’s early 80’s album Richards hated so much he decided to tell Jagger in the bluntest terms to make that better. Wish to see a spoiler, before you listen to a piece? Jagger never did that.
