PHILIPPINE-AMERICAN WAR
I always imagined that they had a toxic love hate relationship. Like America will hurt Philippines then he lies begging for trust and forgiveness and Philippines gets captured by his words, we have a saying in the Philippines “ da more yu hate da more yu lab” or From great hate comes great love. That’s why Philippines is the most pro-american country, we forget our fraternity came from years of great suffering.
