I started out learning pointed pen from thepostmansknock.com, then found brush lettering after trying watercolor lettering!
You’ll just need a brush pen or two and paper. In my beginner’s guide to brush lettering video, I have supply recommendations
The Beginner set by Tombow is all high quality, but the Tombow Dual brush pen might be a bit difficult to use for beginners since it’s so flexible. feel free to give it a try, but it might get frayed :(
