two and a half years ago or more, when i was living in my brother’s garage in the Bay Area, i received an email from DreamWorks asking if i wanted to work on a movie called “Trolls”.  i sneeringly thought, “no i’m fine thanks!”  but, reading further down they mentioned they needed some darker subject matter to be designed for these characters called Bergen, and that i was the one to do it.  how did they find me and how did they know my dark inner thoughts?long story short, i happily took the job and it was absolutely the most fun i have ever had on a project!!!   i hope the work expresses that.  please, go see this fun filled and absolutely delightful movie.  i’m a judgmental wanker when it comes to animated films (i’m working on that negative part).  however, all bias aside, this was just a purely enjoyable flick and can honestly say i am proud to have earned my first movie credit working on it.  my thanks goes completely to Priscilla Wong who found me and got me the job!  it also goes to Kendal Cronkhite who was a brilliant boss and production designer!  congratulations to my friends and the whole team who worked on it!  xo
