Philipp Tampus S/S 2013

I found Philipp's collection most summer-y and practical for the climate in the Philippines. Come on, leather is never a practical choice in these parts. Summer or rainy season. Philipp's collection reminded me of the curtains we used to have when we lived in Laguna. The way the wind would blow through the windows on a breezy summer day and how the curtains would float and flow. It's very pretty. Some of his pieces reminds me of Aladdin and belly dancers too. I like his collection. There's a lot of movement  and it's just so refreshing to look at.

Very Princess Jasmine lang.

This was my favorite. The embroidery, the details on the bust, and the hi-low skirt had me.

PFW Holiday 2012: Chris Jasler, Melchor Guinto, Philipp Tampus & Veejay Floresca

Watched another show at the Philippine Fashion Week and this time, the invite was from Veejay Floresca. 

I was with a co-blogger Mish of LBD & Onesies. (Hi Mish! )

The line was "snake" long at the entrance. I waited for like 30 minutes to get in. 

At the back of my mind, this show will be amazing because of these people in line. 

And I wasn't wrong! Chris Jasler's entrance was ohhlala! 

Aside from the fact that this guy below has the body every guy would want to have and every girls' dream boyfriend to be, notice what he has on. 

It's a bag that transformed into an instant outfit!

Genius, right? It really is! :)

  Chris Jasler's collection rocked  the beginning of the show. Full of punk rock studded  outfits. 

When the male models came out, I was like, "Bakit ganun s'ya maglakad? " , then Mish said, "Naka-heel less s'ya."  Me: "Oo nga! :))" 

The set was ended by a model with a dog and the background music was actually a dog barking sound which I find really cool and astig! :)

Next was Melchor Guinto's collection. It was more of a "One Direction peg". 

He created modern yet conservative designs for both men and women.

 Now onto Philipp Tampus collection. Hold your breath everyone, this is the part that I really loved! I love the dresses to death! I love how the embellishments accentuate the fabrics. The colors were awesome, too! 

Ohh how I wish I could wear even just one of these gorgeous pieces. What's my favorite? The fifth photo! The red dress. Isn't it sexy? :) 

Lastly, Veejay Floresca's collection. These edgy yet classy pieces were eye-catching. He used "Barong Tagalog" fabrics and turned them into these fab dresses. 

 That's it! I really enjoyed this show. It was so far, as for me the best show. 

And having this lady beside makes it more enjoyable. Thanks again, Mish! 

Oha! We have the same hairstyle. Cute! :P

Philippine Fashion Week: Spring Summer 2013

SM Men's Fashion, Impact by Penshoppe, and now, a fashion show by 4 amazing designers, Arnold Galang, Jerome Salaya Ang, Philipp Tampus and Rene Salud. I could not have asked for a better reason to dress up, again!

Days before the show, Valene asked me if I wanted to go to fashion week because she had invites from Philipp Tampus. Now, why would I say no? The day of the fashion show, I had a shoot in campus and we finished a little later than I expected, so I rushed back home and changed my clothes and didn't even bother to put make-up on until I got on the car. 

When we got to SMX, we met up with Jillian, Amore and Nick. 

After the fashion show, we had a pictorial outside. Funny thing was, I was wearing a highlighter orange sheer tank top, and the backdrop for this season's PFW was orange, as well. 

Thank you, BFF, for being my PFW buddy and always tagging me along!
