I remember telling myself way back in 2015 that I hope to see the Grand Dame restored to its former glory. Then this opportunity happened. I’m really grateful to get a glimpse of the Manila Metropolitan Theater (MET) before its official re-opening in December, the same month when the theater was inaugurated way back in 1931. Restoration of other parts of the theater is still ongoing.
