Seeing the brochure for this exhibit, my cousin (herself, now a great grandma of our 4 generation #SFfamily) recalled how our Lola in Aklan once wove and prepared the piña while working with weavers who set up their looms in the ground floor of our family home (overlooking rice fields of my cover photo :).
(Ha. I took lots of reception photos for folks wearing beautiful piña who said they’d tag me. ;)
