Okay! So! I started watching the Philippine drama Amore because the plot intrigued me and. Oh man. Kay, brutal honesty here. The cinematography is crap and the acting feels less than subpar. And the writing. Oh goodness. But there's something about it that I still like. The characters and plot are kinda cute. And there are sweet moments, and I'm still intrigued by the plot. So I'm still watching it. So in conclusion, I hate and I love it and it's kinda super cringey. But the cringiness kinda makes me laugh? So that's something?? 🤷🏽‍♀️

I'm very impressed with Philippines dramas. I haven't actually watched any yet, but I've looked up several of their plots. I feel like every philippine drama I've looked up has had very current/relevant topics their plots revolve around (ahem!...covid*cough*) or they just seem very original but also very real. Like okay maybe not super realistic, but the main idea or premise seems like something currently socially and generationally relevant. They always seem so interesting.
