The dining room at Port Lympne, Sir Philip Sassoon's country house in Kent, after a redecoration scheme in the late 1920's by architect Philip Tilden, with murals by Glyn Philpot. There was disagreement over the success of Philpot's modernist Jazz Age frieze, which portrays Egyptian, Syrian or perhaps Minoan figures, in context of the room's Renaissance revival-style.
