Finally I got copy of DJ Sotofett’s debut album “Drippin’ For A Tripp” and it is even better than it had already seemed to be through the internet! “Nimbus-Mix” is, quite randomly picked because it is so hard to, one of the essential tracks on the album. It belongs to the more dancefloor-suitable part of tracks. A mixture of elements as eclectic as tasty is probably DJ Sotofett’s secret. A sound palette you wouldn’t find anywhere else nowadays. Space-pads come together with bongos and caribbean vibes. Improvised melodies form the wave you surf on through all of it. Completely out of itself but at the same time so on point and at inner peace.
