Tinsel & Tine #PhillyCalendar Grand Opening of Jane G's Dim Sum House in Rittenhouse 1930 Chestnut St official opening Feb 20th The cocktail program is inspired by old school kung fu/martial arts movies and of course, cult classics like Big Trouble in Little China. Menu will feature a special section of Jane G’s classic dishes - including a nod to Chef Georges Perrier, a local and long-time celebrity patron of the former Jane G’s. Today My #PhillyCalendar - brunch at the new restaurant on the Parkway @the_hadley_phl The Hadley is situated on the grounds of The Park Town Apartments, but open to the public. Now if you're in the Art Museum area, you don't have to go to Fairmount Ave or Whole Foods for a good meal. I like the sound of everything on THE HADLEY brunch menu, but went with the Hangover Breakfast Sandwich fried egg, mushrooms, avocado, thick bacon, cheese, sundried tomatoes & spicy adobe mayo Buttermilk Chocolate Chip Pancakes w/ vanilla ice cream & strawberries And side order of Truffles Fries! Every thing I'd order again 😋 entree prices moderate $10 - $14 There's also a full bar & of course Mimosa Bloody Mary options, but for a change, I wasn't in the mood to drink this morning. Congrats to #FirstGlance2019 (Nov 1-3) on their 22nd Film Festival 🎈 I met an awesome number of filmmakers and actors etc.. over the weekend 🤩 It made a big difference enjoying the fest at The Philadelphia Film Center this year! The opening night film was a brave choice CATCHING UP by filmmaker/lead actor Bill Crossland a dramedy/rom/com featuring a severely physically handicap young man navigating relationships with family, friends and a crush on his colleague/childhood friend. It's extremely involving. And like with The Peanut Butter Falcon, it took very little time to stop focusing on Bill/Frank's handicap and start seeing his personality, humor and emotions. This is why it's so important that everyone get to tell their stories, cause they're interesting!
